Tacholink is used to accurately record and report upon a variety of important vehicle and driver data. Tacholink gives the fleet operator an opportunity to monitor critical aspects of vehicle use and driver performance. Speed, distance, braking and acceleration parameters are stored in memory. Drivers 'sign on' with a digital key to associate themselves with the vehicles journey. Additional inputs can be monitored and added to memory for later download. An incident data recorder (IDR) is used to precisely record the driven events surrounding any accident that may occur. An engine immobiliser can be set up and work in association with approved driver ID. The data is brought into the database by remote or manual download where it is then presented in easy to understand reports.
